This is the entrance of the reception that will be held in the top floor of the central tower in Williams Square.  It's a private dining club called La Cima Club.   I'll decorate the fountain with votives and rose petals.  The view of this place is amazing!  The outside wall is all window and overlooks downtown Dallas.

 *Cocktail Hour*

We're planning on doing a champagne bar where the guests get to choose what sugar rim they would like, what mixer, and what fruit they would like. 

 

We will also have some signature drinks. Below, are some great bar menus I love, but I absolutely can't remember what knottie I got them from.  If you know, please tell me so that I can give them credit.

 

 When you walk into the lounge area for the cocktail hour, there will be a table with a crystal tree centerpiece.  Around the tree will be 5x7 picture frames to represent each table.  Each frame will have the table number at the top with the guests assigned to that table listed below.

 I don't plan on the votives in the crystal tree.  I would rather hang ribbon in my wedding colors and maybe do a few flowers throughout.  Votives will be underneath the tree instead of on it.

 *Cake*

 

We don't plan on doing a grooms cake.  Instead we will have a mixture of 'sweets' .  Each guest will get a slice of wedding cake some other treat such as a truffle or macaroon.  We want to place the 'sweets' on cake stands that are different heights and sizes and have them divided on each side of the wedding cake.

 

We do also like the idea of different cheesecakes.

 

*Exit*

 We will be leaving in a gondola since we will be on the Mandalay Canal.  The gondola will take us to the hotel.  We're thinking of doing a ribbon wand send-off right before we get into our gondola.
